It was transfers this past week. Justin however is staying put. Justin has a new companion; Elder Gardner. Elder G. is from Layton, Utah. I think Justin was a little excited about that. Elder G. has been in the field about 4 months. Justin tells us he feels like he is getting to be an "old" missionary. We laugh. Elder Gardner is now the new district leader; I am guessing Justin might get transferred next time; since he gets to show Elder G. the area, etc.
Justin's last companion Elder Carlson is still in there district. Justin said that Elder Carlson & his companion are about ten miles away from them, that they are re-opening an area in the mission.
Justin has been quite busy. They have moved there ward mission leader into his new house; helped some other members landscape & lay sod. Justin said they did an awesome job & it looks good. Along with there service; they had another member ward family that had a double funeral; a guy had a heart attack after being released from the hospital & then the grandmother passed away the day after; Elders were there for support & assistance.
Blessings continue for the Elders; Justin says they have found a "golden" investigator. He said the guy is really cool, and was thrilled to see us Elders. They taught him a bit & Justin said he could tell he was itching to read the Book of Mormon. It was exciting to teach him. The spirit was engulfing all. Justin said it was neat, that he even got goosebumps a few times; one of the best lessons taught; defiantly a mission highlight.

Back in Pensacola.
Okay.....News better late then ever I guess. Justin & Elder Carlson are back in Pensacola; hard at there labors again. The 3 day adventure in Tallahasse was kinda like a missionary vacation. Justin bumped into some of his other companions and fellow friends. During there mini vacation; Justin worked on his TRIBEAR comics & has evidently created quite a fan club of missionaries.
Pensacola looked as it did when they left; Justin said the storm took a sharp hook and hit New Orleans. Justin had to take his bike into the shop; he's been off roading again. Said he bent some spokes and his wheel with the help of a big boulder. So he & Elder Carlson had a walking day. Justin claimed it ended up around 12 miles or so. Hot & sweaty & 7 hours. However, a member did stop them that day & score them $20 bucks to go get some lunch :D Sounds like it was a Firehouse Subs day. The members love their missionaries.
