Elder ???  & Elder Brimhall

Pensacola, Florida.

Elder Justin Brimhall is alive and still loving the brothers & sisters in Pensacola.  It has been a quiet couple of weeks for the Elders.  They are pressing forward.  

Elder Justin B has been working on strengthening his testimony of the priesthood.  He told us that a less active member was having some health issues and had asked for a blessing.  Justin said he was prompted by the spirit to seal the blessing; and in following the spirit; blessed the lady for full recovery.  He stated that last time they saw here; she was recovering very well & rapidly to the astonishment of the doctor.  Justin told us "The Priesthood Works !"  We would have to agree.  The Lord has his agenda.

Justin also stated this past week that the members are keeping them fed.  Sounds like a member treated them to lunch, pizza; before they left for an interview for the other Elders in the district.  The senior couple was the mode of transportation.  After the interview and the Senior couples Dr. appointment; Elder Crocket took us out to pizza for dinner. Then Saturday, another member treated us to CiCi's; yes, another pizza place..........

On the note of halloween;  Justin decided to share a picture of "one of the members" new pet.  He says its a banana spider about 5" .

Staying in P-Cola.

Sounds like Justin is staying in Pensacola for at least another 6 weeks.  Justin says that fine with him; that he feels like family there.  Also mentioned to us that President had been down to Pensacola for district training and interviews.  Justin told President Jensen had some great things to say about him; hopefully he will share them with us in the future.

However it sounds like there investigator Bro. Washington has cut out cold turkey and has dropped them; but hasn't revealed to the Elders why.  Justin thinks its something to do with his family.

The members still are feeding them or spoiling them rotten;  They have been treated to a seafood buffet on the bay.  Justin has tried some fried mullet, fried oysters, and crabcakes & hushpuppies and shrimp.  I think I am now jealous.

All in all, Justin is pushing forward with good attitude and loving the people of Florida,.

Updates From Florida

Wow, I got behind.  Lets see if I can bring everyone up to speed on Justin.

The hard missionary work is blessing the Elders & there investigator Bro. Washington.  Brother Washington has had a few more lessons and has committed for baptism on October 27th.  Justin is super excited and really hopes Bro. Washington does get baptized.  He has been out to church a few times and the Elders gave him a tour of the church house and taught him another lesson.

Justin tells us they have a few others they are teaching that are interested and have lots of questions.  One lady is actually in the hospital and it is very hard to try and teach her; they are constantly getting interruptions by doctors, nurses, techs, etc.  Time will tell how and what happens with her.

Justin says they have a brand new investigator.  Her name is Sonia; they had quite a spiritual lesson with her; that too was exciting,  Justin also told us they knocked on a door and found a less active member that had moved from Taiwan to the US.  She got a little excited to see the missionaries Justin said.

Justin told us they have been  performing quite a bit of service lately.  A lot of moving & painting.

Members have been feeding them.  Taking them out to the buffet's making sure they don't go hungry.

Last prep day, the ward mission leader & there family treated Justin and his comp. to a trip to the naval aviation museum and a lighthouse in Pensacola.
